Ayer is two and a half hours to the east of Geneva beyond Verbier but before Zermatt; a totally unspoilt village in the picturesque valley of the Val d’Anniviers, in the Swiss canton of Valais.
Apart from the weather (300 days of sun annually), the skiing, the spectacular landscape, the local culture, the flora, the fauna and summer activities makes Valais and Ayer, in particular, an exceptional holiday destination.
During the ski season, Chalets Grouse and Cuckoo are perfect bases from which to hit the slopes- however, the fun doesn't stop when the snow does.
Spring, Summer and Autumn activities in the area include cycling, paragliding, bungee jumping, canyoning, tennis, aerial adventure, mountaineering and much else.
